The Wedding Rehearsal is a ‘run-through’ of all the steps that the main part of the wedding has to undergo to ensure a seamless wedding. This means that everyone will get together to go through the motions without the crowd there. The members most often included are the bridesmaids, grooms, flower girl, ringer bearer, bride, groom and their parents.
The Wedding Day
During the day of the wedding, there will be a time set in which the wedding procession will happen. Most people will try to be here a little bit early to ensure they don’t miss the event. During this time, most people are usually meeting up and introducing each other.
There will typically be a warning notice before the procession takes place.
The Order of Service
The Family Procession – After everyone has been seated, the music will begin playing, and the grandparents and parents of the groom and bride will enter (in that order: Groom Grandparents, Bride Grandparents, Groom Parents, Bride Parents*)
Entry of the Wedding Party – A shift in music will usually signal the next step of the procession. The officiant will enter and take the center followed by the procession of the groom and his groomsmen. Next, the bridesmaids will enter with the maid of honor. Finally, the ringbearer and flower girl will take their places to the left and right of the groomsmen and the bridesmaids.
Officiant, Groom and Best Man, Groomsmen. Entry of the bridesmaids and the Maid of Honor. Next, it’s the Ring Bearer stand next to the best man. The flower girl will enter and stand next to the maid of honor.
Final Section of Procession – At this point, the Groom will now enter, and the officiator will take a more presentable station on the stage. The father of the bride will walk the bride down and give her away where the rest of the ceremony will be dictated by the officiator.
After the Service
Possible Gap – If you should choose, you can have the after party and reception be later on in the day, or you can choose to do the reception immediately after the wedding has happened.
Wedding Reception – The wedding reception is where everyone gets together to celebrate the wedding and the brides and grooms. This is where we come in!
